An effective form of bodywork using myofascial techniques guided by the myofascia meridians as a strategy to unwind and reduce the misaligned structural patterns residing in your body’s locomotor system. We work together to restore your natural balance , alignment, and length. This approach frees the binding and shortening of fascia tissues to reeducate the body in efficient and energy sustaining patterns. Rather than addressing symptoms, we look to reduce chronic postural irregularities for the long term to improve your performance in activities and increase your range of motion with in the limits of age and health.

Shiatsu massage

With a NAIT Honours Business Diploma in hand, Jenny’s career began in commodity customer service and corporate training. After 15 years in the corporate sector, she completed the Mount Royal College Massage Therapy program in 2005, and changed careers to massage therapy. While on vacation, she was exclusively invited to study Shiatsu massage with the team at the Ten Thousand Waves Spa in New Mexico, USA. The unique technique of Masanori Uchida, a professional sport massage master from Nagoya, Japan, is a favourite treatment for many of Jenny’s clients. In 2017, Jenny made the decision to get focused on her own self care. With the help of a professional athletic coach, her body composition and body structure dramatically changed. As a result, she can speak from experience to support others in achieving their goals while overcoming personal obstacles. Meanwhile, she discovered the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) certification led by Thomas Myers in Maine, USA. After experiencing how this modality uses fascial meridians to strategically balance posture and structural instability, it was to be the next step for her own personal and career goals. She graduated from the intensive ATSI program in the fall of 2020 and is a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI). Jenny firmly believes in many cases, the body can be healthy and support you throughout life. This includes a proactive self care plan, a stabilized posture, a strong mind/body connection, good mental health, along with proper nutrition, movement, and rest. Jenny’s interests include hiking, travelling, weight training, yoga, and clean eating, As well, lots of time with her dog Oats where together they are volunteering as a therapy dog and training for possible competition trials.
